Home Sweet Home is my outlook
My oh my, she sure can cook
Nurturing and giving loving care
4 children in 5 years she did bear

Truly a women mentioned in the Psalms
In her 80s now with wrinkled palms
Yet to me, she is so young at heart
I'm so thankful Mom gave me life's start

Found a bin of my son's baby things the other day
Reminded me of Peggy's loving way
Making clothes and teaching him to read
Planted goodness that matured from that seed

Readers, this is likely true in your lives
Whether it be your moms or wives
So if they’re living, honor them with a call
If they’re not, live your life by standing tall
