Wearers of the NCAA Basketball crown
A team effort with no particular star
We who follow them know that’s why they went so far

Bill Self and the boys
Gave us a season of joys
Many thought the fat lady was singing her song
But, wow! That turned out to be wrong

Here is a lesson to never give up
Because Allen Fieldhouse holds the trophy cup
